Volunteering with animals and wildlife is a rewarding, fun and unique opportunity. Volunteers can work closely with their favorite pets at animal shelters, or observe unique animals they never thought they would have the opportunity to see. 3rd week free between August 2024 till December 2024 | Volunteer at one of the largest and most successful wildlife sanctuary and rehabilitation centers in Africa! Become a part of a 50 year history of wildlife conservation and volunteer on this project with a range of animals, from monkeys to lions.

3rd week free between September 2024 till December 2024 | Volunteer for an incredible sloth and animal rescue center in Costa Rica! This program is open to all students and volunteers, including pre-vet and vet students. Help shadow veterinarians at the on-site animal hospital, feed and care for 100+ of animals and gain hands-on experience in wildlife care.

3rd week free between September 2024 – December 2024 |Journey to the beautiful Pacific beaches of the Osa Penisula to volunteer for sea turtles. By protecting 8km of beach, the project contributes significantly to the registration of over 7000 nests per season. Volunteers play a crucial role in this grassroots project, contributing to both turtle conservation and community development.

3rd week free between December 2024 – February 2025 | If you are passionate about wild animals and want to make a difference in their lives, then volunteer at the African Wildlife Ranch! Help their incredible staff with diverse animal care & conservation efforts.

3rd week free between September 2024 – November 2024 | Help conduct essential marine research on scuba dives, ocean safaris and beach walks off the coastline of the stunning beach town of Praia do Tofo. During this project, you will closely monitor a variety of unique marine species, including the majestic whale shark.
