I spent 4 weeks at the Amazon Shelter in 2022, and loved my time there. The work is tough & hands on but very rewarding!!
It’s so lovely to see firsthand how best to rehabilitate the animals. Everyone at the shelter was nice and friendly.
The food was good and much needed after the hard work. The weather can be unpredictable, but really just adds to the atmosphere.
It’s an experience I’ll never forget, and hope to one day have again!!
