One of my most unforgettable experiences on the Pacific Sea Turtle Volunteer Program in Costa Rica. was the night patrol, watching for nesting turtles. We came across a turtle as she was digging her nest and laying her eggs, it was one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever witnessed! Being part of such an incredible team and contributing to such a meaningful mission was truly inspiring.
Witnessing the garbage washed ashore by the tide deeply impacted me and inspired me to change how I live. After my time at Romelia, I’m committed to adopting a more intentional and purposeful lifestyle. I also want to educate my students about how their choices affect the world, even thousands of miles away. The whole experience was life changing.
