I’ve just finished up a week in Otaki Village, Japan providing English exchange, as well as miscellaneous projects within the community. 🏘️
Using a reputable organization like @go.eco allows you to give back to local communities around the world with volunteer-based activities, while still getting to tour the area!
I (of course) chose a mountainous region because I can’t ever see too many waterfalls, but @go.eco has volunteer choices in multiple countries with several different programs! 🇯🇵
Not only did I get to experience traditional Japanese activities with the locals, but the other volunteers & I were shown the “hidden gems” of the area! 🤫
